Arranging a session
Choosing someone to work with is an important decision, so please have a look at my website to find out more about me and how I work. I offer a free initial conversation so that we can talk about what may have brought you to therapy and consider whether we might be a good fit for each other.
I also want therapy to be as accessible as possible and offer some reduced-fee places for clients who might otherwise find accessing therapy difficult.

Building Possibility Together
About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Tim, a UKCP Registered Integrative Psychotherapist. I work with adultsindividually, both face-to-face in Sheffield and online. I have completed over 500 hours of UKCP-approved supervised clinical practice across NHS, charitable and private therapy settings.
I bring warmth, compassion and a non-judgemental approach to the work, with anemphasis on developing a relationship built on trust. I want you to have the space to explore what is happening for you in a way and at a pace that feels right.
As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I draw on different theories and approaches according to the person and the therapeutic relationship. My model of integration isrelational and developmental. This means I regard the relationship between us as an important part of the therapeutic process, and I remain curious about how we are relating to one another. I also believe that our earlier experiences can shape how we understand ourselves and our relationships, and may offer useful clues to difficulties in the present.
There is no set pathway or formula for the work. What we explore, and how we work together, develops as part of the therapy itself.
I have particular interests in anxiety and stress, low mood, shame and self-esteem, relationship difficulties, trauma, identity and life transitions, and experiences of
neurodivergence and difference. This list isn’t exhaustive, and you may not even be sure what is troubling you when you first get in touch. Part of therapy can be finding that out together.
Alongside my private practice, I work as a Study Skills Tutor and Specialist Mentor in Higher Education, supporting students with ADHD and ASD, and I also deliver mental health training.
