About me and my practice

Hi, I’m Emma

Are you struggling with feelings of shame, difficulties around sex, intimacy, your sexual identity, or the impact of past relationship trauma? These experiences can affect your confidence, emotional well-being, and ability to connect with others in ways that feel safe, authentic and fulfilling.

I believe in the importance of strengthening our mind-body connection to help us recover from trauma and to improve our overall mental health. If you could think your way out of your difficulties, the chances are you might have done it already. Trauma and negative life experiences don’t just affect our emotional well being, they affect our bodies and nervous system. We can become disconnected from our bodies, from intimacy, and from our sexual selves.  I am passionate about helping people reconnect with their bodies following traumatic experiences

I offer a compassionate, body-aware, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. I recognize that healing isn’t just about talking—it’s about building safety within your body and relationships.I integrate Polyvagal Theory, somatic techniques, EMDR and compassion focussed therapy to support nervous system regulation, trauma recovery, emotional safety, and deeper self-connection. Whether you're exploring your sexual identity, healing from past relationship wounds, or working through the emotional impact of shame, I provide a non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, validated, and empowered.
